Has anyone travelled by Greyhound bus service to Chicago to connect into an international flight?
Are these buses safe and do they reach on time? Are cabs easily available from Greyhound station to O'Hare airport. My trip to India is in November and looking at options to reach Chicago. Any first hand information will be appreciated. Thanks.

I am traveling on November 2 and my husband on November 16. As of now for November 2, my husband is planning to drop me in Chicago and we are on the look out for his travel to Chicago. Anyone wishes to travel to Chicago on November 2 with us, are most welcome.

When in nov you are traveling. We are traveling on nov 11th  for india and our flight is from chicago.Let me know if this suits you. Another i can suggest you mega bus early morning and from union station take taxi to airport.

Take care of your belongings(passport/laptop bag) when you get down for restrooms/others.

Greyhound are safe, just like the Government Operated buses in India, however at times they get late and when I say late, they get late like anywhere between 1-3 hours. So, I would suggest if you have any friends who can drop you in Chicago and come and you can take care of their gas, which would be the best option as they will drop you directly to the airport and would be a safe bet anytime!!!
