Are you looking for public or private schools. 

There are a lot of good private schools and you can take their tours to see if they fit the needs for your child

The public schools in Jefferson county have districting process. So the school nearest to you might not be the home school. Since this is a Desi forum I will have to admit that there are a few families that will try their best to get their kids either in Myzeek Middle School or choose to stay in the Oldham County area.
